DR ANUSHREE PISHARODY DDS
When you utterly love to see people smile you learn to crack good jokes or you learn to literally give them beautiful smiles. Since her jokes are lame, at best, Anu decided she would give people a better reason to smile- healthy beautiful teeth! Coming from a family of math scholars and law graduates, dentistry was an unexplored avenue that she took on as a challenge.
She went to dental school as a mother of a toddler and managed to graduate with distinction and made it to the Dean’s Honor List proving that women are best when they have to multi task. After associating with local dentists she decided to start her dental practise in Amherstview, Ontario so she could do what she always dreamed of, to make dentistry not only painless, but a fun experience that people enjoyed. On completing 5 years as a solo practitioner in a very busy office, she decided to hand over her practise and move to Langford to finally enjoy a more relaxed work schedule so she could spend some much needed time with her two young boys.
Anu enjoys attending local dental society meetings and keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry. Anu enjoys all facets of her work but takes a special interest in providing care under moderate sedation in high anxiety patients and those with special needs. She is a certified Invisalign and ClearCorrect provider. She may be a nerd about the actual science of Dentistry, but what truly keeps her hooked to the field is the ability to meet and interact with all kinds of people and solve heir unique dental problems.
